Refurbishment of historic square as ‘Limerick’s living cultural quarter’, with emphasis on shared surface treatment to help promote events, performances and exhibitions, and a more pedestrian-friendly space for evening use. Following extensive public engagement, the completed scheme includes rationalised parking/loading, high quality granite paving in distinctive fan pattern, feature lighting, signage, interpretation material, street furniture and planting.
